With only ten months to go, there still seems like there is sooo much to do!
...but I can't ignore the fact that we've done so much already.
In the past month, my fiancee Matt and I have searched in Clearwater and Orlando for a venue that would be perfect for the intimate Italian/Greek wedding we are going for. After touring The Don Cesar, The Vinoy, The SandPearl Resort and the new Aqualea in the Clearwater and St. Petersburg area, we began our search in Orlando...
On the list: Gaylord Palms, Leu Gardens, The Peabody, The Winter Park Racquet Club, and the lovely, Bella Collina. Of the five; we saw Gaylord Palms, heard of Bella Collina (set an appointment, toured and booked!). We left Bella Collina in a sort of fantasy land state of mind with absolutely no desire to see any of the other venues.
With Bella Collina Golf Club, a members only neighborhood which was originally intended only for the rich of the rich, booked for our wedding we moved on to the laundry list of vendors we need to secure.
In the past week we met with Jeff Verschage at White Rose Entertainment and Les and Paul with Soundwave. According to the word around town we've chosen two of the best entertainers so either way we go we should be good... Funny enough, I'm thinking we might go with both! I'll keep you posted on our decision.
On a completely different note, check out this dress! Its made of hair and baby rose pedals!
Is that like every little girls dream or what? Well, not the hair part, but the flower part. Who wouldn't want a wedding dress made of flowers?
Dress shopping should be interesting
